so, speaking as someone who has read the entire novel (and obviously likes it)… it picks up quite slowly to very slowly, it differs a lot per reader. i think i got some interest around chapter 20-30. most people who like the novel seem to get invested around chapter 50-70 at the latest. tbh, i think that it esp starts to get “quite interesting” around chapter 200. and i think the high ratings are mostly from people who have read past the 300s as that’s when the story starts showing its true colors. the author also has a talent for constructing, setting up and leading the story. it’s a novel where sticking to it pays off but that’s not worth it if you dont at least somewhat enjoy it until the payoff starts to happen. sorry for the long reply, lcf is a lot to unwrap i feel like. i’d say give it a bit longer, but if by the mentioned chapters 50-70 it isn’t to your liking (or rly, just whenever you get tired of it), it’s probs best to look for a different story to enjoy. happy reading!

If you have read a decent amount of novels you will find this lacking and undeserved of the title highest reviewed on this site

I have read till 173 and yeah it is awful if I put it bluntly. At first I thought it was just me since everyone seems to like it but after reading other novels of other genres I am sure this is not for me. So here is what you should know about the story. First, the Mc is pretty badly done. From his character to his abilities all the way to his actions. He feels like a overly lucky protagonist but more subtle and poorly done. And if you are a fan of Romance (apparently it has no romance they say) or a fan of Action (bad action like a 9 year old could come up with it) or maybe a adventure and fantasy one (also arguably badly done) But enough of the bad here is the good I can find The other characters are fine and well written with some cliches here and there but well done cliches. Thats about all I can say about the good stuff from off the top of my head

I completely agree with you!! :) But don't be sad the system for ranks is not function properly also I found some peoples saying that you shouldn't trust the ranking system it's false anyway(bcz it's not accurate)

Explains why you like it lol. The early novels we read would always have a special place in our hearts. Even the "bad ones" you will love for getting you riled up early on. Edit: The reason it dropped is probably because there are a lot of newer and amazing novels there. Plus from what you guys were saying the novel didn't update it's main chapters for a while

the part two was currently ongoing and it was lit too many revelations and you'll connect the dots that you can't answer during part 1 (the birth of hero) and it's really good maybe in first you'll find it too boring because there's a lot of info and discussion but for me the early chapters are the most important because it has a lot of foreshadowing, and you'll realize sooner after you read it till the end :)) it has a unique plot and many twist I'd never imagined that's why for us lcf is the best
