A very good novel, I love the humor and also the many plot changes, the best are the intrigues and mental games in the war arcs, although it is very cliché it is not boring.

Enjoyable wuxia novel with unique antihero mc with good character development. The fight scenes are kinda poorly written and lacking detail but that's about it.

this novel is honestly amazing i came from the manhua since i was genuinely looking forward every week for chapters the mc is smart and crafty and also quite strong but theres also a lot of character development and hes learning things he never had the chance to experience its great

This novel is a Bloody masterpiece if you want a Cold, Cruel, Evil and Shameless Protagonist, the world building is not bad but I've seen better, the characters are mostly very good, except for a select few that will annoy you. But I love that the MC takes no sh*t from anyone and he will get revenge for all that is done against him "I hope" And it's so satisfying when he just beats the living hell out whomever he wants. 9/10 for me give it a read

10/10 if you like strong mc with big brains this one is for you, the mc is not strong to the point that he literally one shot everyone and he gets strong at a steady pace and every power ups there will always be an enemy who is as strong as him it's not like any other op mc novel where the mc just gets too op so fast to the point where it gets boring, at the start the mc is not that strong and uses his brain to rise from the top but with some luck and brain and with some hard work he steadily becomes strong, almost every chapter is fun to read and is not boring at all! (Only in my opinion though) I really Recommend this novel :D

To give a rundown of this novel, the pacing is not perfect but good, it’s different from normal cultivation, and if you like smart, manipulative, cunning, and overpowered MC’s in one this is for you.

If I have to describe it it's simply amazing. Though there might be some flaws, but some things about this novel are so good that they overshadow these flaws like the schemes, world building etc and at the end of the day what really matters is, did I enjoy it? so the answer is yes. Those who are joining after reading manhwa you can start around ch 415.

This. . it's a masterpiece. Alright, I rarely get engrossed in a story SO much that I literally can't wait to find out what happens next. If you're like me, you like a badass MC who has the brains and power to go along with it. Obviously, we don't include those MCs which are ridiculously strong and gain power way too quickly. Here, though of course being the MC there's going to be a HARD case of plot Armor, it's actually written in a way that's not really annoying. And, this is one of the few Chinese novels that actually have good translations (I read the manhua till chapter ~400 and then continued with the novel and the manhua's translation wasn't half as good as the novels, trust me). Anyways, do give it a shot, you'll definitely not regret it (orrrr maybe you will, because this story literally pulls you in).

Good series, the plot, characters and main characters are good so 10/10 the main thing is that you won't get burned out with it, even after reading more than 1000 chapters of this novel!
