    This novel has already over 700 chapters. The one I've read is kinda bad translation since some Korean words were not properly translated but overall still understandable. I hope they have consistent release with better english translations since the story is so good. And there's a twist midway (I think midway because it was around chapter 700 they revealed it and the story has still a long way to go).

This one is just around 400+ the last time I read it. I forgot the site and my phone broke thus it reset, so no history whatsover. I'm still trying to look for it.

        So far it's just Runaan who's somehow being potentially linked to him. I say potentially because Runaan's POV is quite vague while Raon doesn't have any inkling to it.

    I always think with Wuxia's novel, why does MCs think legendary really old techniques be good? Won't the society and world evolve constantly? It's like you in the 21st century being impressed by basic arithmetic which would have been top at the beginnning of civilizations

      because wuxia societies are dominated by conservative strength. there is no proper evolution if all the strong ones maintain a conservative status quo. they only let their people succeed in the pursuit of strength. this limits the growth of the species as a whole. sure, doing this would make resources not so scarce but it runs the risk of giving a lot of valuable resources to spoiled brats. Plus, in such a world where people live for centuries and millenias, it isn't surprising that a few techniques can be overpowered for thousands of years. it takes a relatively long time for us to be considered a decent amount of time in a wuxia world
