Summary

    Okay, it has been so many months after I decided to let the nevermore arc finished before I continue to read. And now, i am fighting with myself if I should read it now or later

      It's not even over yet. Like 150ish more chaps if no big time skip. Iirc, Author is going on break soon aswell. So you'll have to wait a few more months until its completed .

    I'm at chapter 137 and i would've enjoyed this novel much more if the Gods would'nt have been introduced so early. Like I get it when Jake meets Viper for the first time but for it to be so easy see him multiple times and get free information and power is just weird. Also the Gods dont really act like Gods they feel too human and too approachable they dont feel like billions of years entities who could kill you by breathing. Like G rank humans able to just meet Primordials in the f*ck*ng Tutorial not even after it. A lot of the suspense is also killed by Viper's strong backing knowing that anything not related to Jack's hunting and challenges will be dealt with by Viper in worst case scenario. I just feel like it's a lot of missed potential. - Will something change about any of these?

      That's why Jake is such an oddity to Gods, he don't give a f*ck. Normally when people see a God they either drop to their knees and start praying, or they kinda just die or go insane and stuff. The Malefic Viper (Villy) likes Jake because of his strong Bloodline and personality. That's why they can talk frequently. Mortals of any rank usually don't talk to Gods at all (unless they're peak S-grade) except for when they get a blessing (which for a new universe is during the Tutorial) 《Also, VIlly will only help Jake with a problem caused by a God. Plus Jake also doesn't want Villy to revive him if he ever dies, so Jake could theoretically just die to a random S-Grade and the story would be over.》

        I don't know if the earlier chapters dialogue on this site are different from the published Amazon version, but if they're the same, I'd honestly recommend dropping this if it's too much to bear. The words the author uses don't change much over the chapters, so if that's your issue I wouldn't say it gets any better. If it's characters personalities they also don't change too much over the next few hundred chapters. May I ask what's exactly making you cringe tho?

        mostly the jokes and there are lot of chapters with author trying to add some comedy but man i feel like im reading a conservation between teenagers, i was expecting mc to bit cold towards people whom he dont know but he is a bit friendly isnt he? Well, i will wait till the auction chapters than decide if i should drop or not. Thanks.

    Is this good? A few months ago this was pretty low in the ranks and people called it sh*t and boring. Now is above even TBATE and comments say is good. Im confused.

      Any novel in the top 100 ranks is good ig. Anything is entertaining if you, as the reader, give it life with your imagination. Every time, go into a novel with a mindset of curiosity, never expectation nor obligation. If the novel breeds your creativity into something more significant, it's a good novel. Remember, it's only a good novel if you believe it to be, and this requires you to give it a chance.

      Mc has s*x with people occasionally. (E.g. there was a hot succubus who was into him... need I say more?) But MC isn't really interested in any committed relationships since he wants to be a God (which would make him immortal). Plus he probably won't have kids until the A-grade at minimum(if ever), since the higher the grade the easier it is to pass your Bloodline onto your first-born Child. 100% recommend this if you enjoy good action books.

      He's not incapable of human interaction and does have close companions. But he does mostly prefer being alone and going solo.

        62 is still during the tutorial right? After the tutorial the story picks up speed for a good long while. Then slows a little, then picks back up again. Just read until king of the forest part then decide if you still like it.

        Since you read sword god, what do you think about this book? It’s said the guy is an archer… For someone like me who likes dope fights that kinda dampens my enthusiasm

        I enjoy it. It's just dumb good fights and fun alchemy. It's more of a comfort read than anything ground breaking. It's got good fights, interesting skills, detailed alchemy, awesome Snake God, and an OP archer guy who can launch massive arrows of destruction across a country. 100% recommend it. (Also, I heard the info dumps on this version can be annoying, but you can honestly just skip those as they get brought up again when they're relevant.)

      End? Like no more chapters? Probably in a few years after the Authors done milking it. He's making like $30k a month off of Patreon so there's no real reason to end it quickly. (Good on Zogarth. Get that bag.) Jake also has to go from G grade to Primordial grade, so that's a long journey we're not even close to completing. Imo, just read it now. Or actually maybe a few months until the current arc is over and then read it.
