Summary

On just another normal Monday, the world changed. The universe had reached a threshold humanity didn’t even know existed, and it was time to finally be integrated into the vast multiverse. A world where power is the only thing that one can truly rely on.

Jake, a seemingly average office worker, finds himself thrust into this new world. Into a tutorial filled with dangers and opportunities. In a world that should breed fear and concern, an environment that makes his fellow coworkers falter, Jake instead finds himself thriving.

Perhaps… Jake was born for this kind of world, to begin with.

well i will give my opinion to the novel (i am on chapter 350): a slow but good read. while we do have an op-mc he does get a loss once in a while & stuck at a frustrating problem. we even work with interesting topics & troubleshooting that makes non-combat-focused parts good reads. most outstandingly we don´t get romance forced down our throat (which also includes the worst of all: a pseudo-harem). so like stated before: a very good read

I'm on chapter 186 and I can't seem to get past the fact that Jake uses archery when he puts his stats into stuff for mana. like most his % buffs are good with mana his alchemy requires mana but he uses a bow that's relying on strength and agility can someone please tell me if he gets something better or uses his bow differently? I know he is strong right now but its mostly him just stat-checking and it's getting bland.

Wow! saying its slow is putting it mildly! It sucks, i have never read anything this stupid and trust me i have read some weird stuff but this one takes the cake. MC is lone wolf, i don't know if he grew conceited or not but who lets themselves trust some they just happen to randomly meet in some woods of a survival event, like the fck right? Only to get backstabbed a few minutes later, like what totally happened to his cautious nature. What's even worse is that he almost dies, like near death, soul out of the body stuff, so he spends time training and getting stronger only to get almost killed by the same dude who backstabbed him, cause in the moment he is supposed to fight he suddenly turns melodramatic.

This is amazing, while he doesnt focus on the main character all the time he doesn't stray away for too long, always coming back. His friendship with villy makes me laugh, and he's not just some generic mc who fights evil, he has character and it makes him feel real. Reading it easy and fun as the author doesn't just state the same thing over and over. Over all it a good read and worth putting in the time to read.

I'm at Chapter 136 and I like everything except the mc. I can't decide whether I should keep reading or just move on.

Can you please tell me how's MC like, is he smart and cunning or a self righteous fool ?

I've been reading this novel since it first started. In the beginning, the main character (MC) is "awkward" around others, and even later on, he isn't the type to actively seek out friendships. However, the few friends he does make are usually brought into the story in a meaningful way so that they aren't forgotten. The MC is a hunter who prefers working alone. He isn't inclined towards scheming and actually dislikes it, but that doesn't mean he is unintelligent. In fact, he has successfully employed schemes numerous times. Nonetheless, his preferred approach is to overpower his enemies. This novel is exceptionally well-written, and I would even go as far as saying that there are no excessively boring parts. Although there may be sections that seem a bit drawn out, the author manages to keep the reader engaged throughout. You should give it a read it is definitely in my Top 3 of all time

He's not self-righteous or afraid to kill, but he is naive and awkward around other people, and he's not completely stupid but I wouldn't say he's smart or cunning. But I'm only at chapter 154 so that could change.

I'm at around chapter 60-ish. The premise is good but the narration when the MC is on his own is just so boring. Do you know if the narration improves past chapter 100?

During the whole tutorial the story is more or less divided into the mc doing his stuff and the others having political problems. And no, till the tutorial ends he will not really interact with others that much and stay more or less clueless about what’s happening to the others. It will change later on tho. The more the novel progresses the more he becomes the focus of main events and the more he will start interacting.

nope I stopped at 141 because of that exact reason it's just so boring when he's alone

Eeeh ... That's quite hard to decide if its good or exellent novel. I don't like the mc at all being most of time childish. He can barely fit in the anti hero class as he wants to protect his group (that he doesn't even know that well) at any cost like, even getting stronger is only 2nd to his group if you read a little more. The mc just wants a good fight and don't seems to care about dying at all. It's kind of disgusting to see him act like a cringe bipolar... However the novel is really smooth with words with a good humour. Characters are also smart somehow... It is weird but in a way the author wants you to "aknowlegde the power of love friendship etc.."

To me, the most human-sounding character of all is the Snake God. While the rest (including MC) are poorly developed individuals. But I'll try and give it a go at least until chapter 100 if the quality improves. I heard so many good things about this novel but so far, I'm not really impressed or that entertained. It's barely decent, but just barely.

the thing is the author make "the power of emotions" too important in the novel. While the mc is god d*mn instable mentally, he's not that bad since it is very likely that at least some people can relate but God d*mn the whole book make it so annoying. Also the author keep feeding you with "the true power of friendship, love etc" and that "you can't do anything alone" but keeps spamming how strong god are even without. It makes pretty much everyone stupid since pretty much every important character want "tO be UnDerStood" and are driven only by emotions while for God sake immortality is at sake. Pretty sure a certain demon venerable is so cringed to see that immortality can be obtained so easily but is wasted on bunch of instable wannabe kid

Honestly, I'm finding William's story far more engaging than MC's. I'm at the chapter when he kills Richard and his crew while MC is in yet another dungeon. I don't like William but I'm far more entertained with his progress than MC's. Especially since he's feeling somewhat guilty/upset over The Smith's death and basically honored his dying wish and killed Richard.
