If someone you’re entirely in love with was beaten with the attempt to kill (Jayden only survived because of her demon regeneration) then you’d pretty much hate that person’s guts. Now, that person’s reason for doing such a thing is because they have some sort of sick idea that they own you and you can only belong to them? Hatred +1. That person specifically makes plans in order to kill your closest friend, as well as your lover. They also kill an innocent person who you get along with simply because of the fact that you get along with them. Hatred +3. In this novel, people torture people for the fun of it, so i don’t think anything that happend was ‘too far’. It actually makes perfect sense.

Spoiler Alert Hell yeah. At least there are authors who are willing to write such publicly discouraged events. Usually it is a base level of pain-torture which is just not realistic. If you hated someone enough to not give them an easy death, then you’d most definitely make sure they suffer the most anguish possible. There is only so far you can allow things to be held back by the ‘still retaining some morals’ excuse. I find it hard to believe that you could happily slaughter and yet struggle with true torture. Of course, they’re just novels so it depends on how the author thinks but i’m happy that this one follows what i see as basic logic….. or maybe im just a sociopath?

Spoiler Alert Oh hell nah man. It is uncomfortable to read for any sane person. But having uncomfortable-to-read things is necessary as it really tests your own morals and I find it rather thought-provoking on what you would do in such a situation. I think the main point of this is to not associate the novel to real life and yet somehow imagine yourself in the character’s position, with all their experiences and emotions. Most would certainly want nothing more than anguish to someone they hated so much. Sure, he could’ve tortured her in different ways but ultimately she got off on anything he did to her and only proved slightly distressed when he entirely ignored her. Him having sex in front of her was a perfect torture for her personality, but i guess it didn’t feel like he hurt her enough so he decided to go with the physical torture from Abby and ultimately the goblin-gangbang.

I honestly don't think this series will update. The most recent chapter is on another site. 443 and 444 when fire merges however it contents haven't been released. Its been months maybe a year since I last saw an update (not sure which but its definitely at least been months) and it hasn't updated. I think Drip might've abandoned this story but I haven't given up.
