Before the great reset I read till the arc where he goes to the city of assassins where his sister is. Does anyone know which chapter it was? The reset has deleted my progress.

I read up to chapter 130... I don't understand why it's so hyped up... None of Jin's enemies had a satisfying end... He either loses to them or they get an easy death... He can't fight any of them alone. It's understandable to some degree since his opponents all have a higher rank than him but it just doesn't right... Does it get better or at least does Jin get crueler to his enemies?

I think that's a good thing. He is getting stronger but remember he is facing a world crisis in his own. If the zipples were weak enough to lose to Jin then this story would be a joke as his dad is a half-deity and his siblings are also op. There wouldn't be no reason why the runcandels hadn't get rid of the zipples yet. Also if he was already op right now on his first adventure outside his clan, then it will be hard to do character development. I like that he is still growing stronger and his enemies aren't complete fiddles. This makes u anticipate how strong he would need to be to surpass Temar, His father and his siblings. It makes u anticipate how strong he must become to destroy zipple, save the world and perhaps even surpass Solderet and the other deities. I kinda like the fact that he is not the sole strong existance in the story and he needs to shoulder everything because everyone else are cannon fodders.

Just wait for it. He gets powerful at a absurd pace later

Why does Jin stop using overload magic when he fights magicians? I don't remember if he cannot use it anymore or if it is forgotten?

He didn't stop using it. He simply it less. This attack is like Trump card that can save his life. But the drawback is that it uses too much mana. In drawn out battles, he needs to save as much mana as possible. Now that he has gotten stronger than before, he would obviously prefer to use his more ideal skills in swordsmanship, shadow energy and magic. Unless absolutely necessary, I don't think he would waste lots of mana over a single attack that could potentially put him at a disadvantage later in the fight instead of using various combinations of other attacks. Besides, between summoning Tess who deal heavy damages in return for using up his mana and this 1 ability - Tess is a better choice.

I don't think he stopped. It's just that it has strict requirements and needs him to have high mana

This novel is well written. I feel like it's underrated or undervalued. Should atleast be in top 20
