So does he keep complaining about things he literally wished for and could change instantly throughout the novel? It's getting quite frustrating to read him say "I want the challenge" and knowing he could remove the challenge whenever he wants to but instead he just keeps complaining about it..
This novel is all over the place with how bad it is. People commented that after reading ruthless MCs, this is a refresher...well I wonder what you've been reading because this isn't a good comparison in the slightest. The system could be used so much more efficiently but he lacks the maturity and resolve to even get anything done. He's a coward for starters, at least up until ch 90. He's made irrational choices one after the other. (and miss me with the 'he's only so old... he's new to the world bs; there are ways to pull that off and making the MC a pansy isn't it.) It didn't take long to start hitting us with the cliche tropes (sects, young mistress/masters,) and most imporantly, our MC CHOOSES to be weak at the start of his cultivation and is constantly complaining about his lack of aptitude...like wtf? Do better author. Read it yourself and judge... i'd say skim it at best, its not worth 300 chapters to decide if a story is good or not. I'm out, hope this helps.
I come with hope that I get good novel about system and I got much more. Adventure of mc are really enjoyable and interesting when come to different places and each place are unique that you will not be bored Even after hundreds chapter deep. But Beginning is pretty much only about cultivating world And System is op in later stage that can do anything what mc want.
Completed it. It’s a really good isekai. Sometimes i took a break bc the length, but overall I loved it. The world building and detail is incredible. And the romance is very cute and honorable. If you want a very op and free mc, this one is very good. The first few hundred chapters are captivating, and after that it doesn’t lose the charm. I wish I were you first time reader lol

(2) Later in the story, it changes where the energy gathering does not even mention, his lack of energy, and his goal energy. So he gets to that sh*tty situation even when he does not meddle with them. Not only that, his way of helping is kind of sh*tty too. It's like I want to help this beggar so I will give him some food but I am not a chef so I will go to school to get that certificate. It's okay if he wants to be a chef because it is also helpful to him long term but in this situation, it's like he is always proving himself to this nobody and stranger. I just want him to do his thing because he wants to not because of outside interference. Any kind of profession on him and conflict because of his 'friend', sure. Overall it's okay to me but the way he helps, the start of the conflict, fight scene can be better. I'm around 500+ and the pattern is still the same.
(Some few spoilers) Weird at first like "what am I reading" but it got exciting when he met the sun guy with a weak constitution and then helped him. At that time it feels just like a normal slice of life genre and he is just surviving just like in that slime anime where he builds the village. The pacing is quite slow that's why I said it feels like reading a slice of life even if it does not have that genre. Then we will go into conflict. The pacing is super fast like super fast to the point of being sh*t. For example when he does his very first mistake, lost his cool, regret, and pain while fighting in the span of a paragraph. Then we have this kind of MC, he is quite peaceful but he does stick himself to this random character that later in the story will be the driving factor to that said arc. It's cool but the purpose of that is because he needs energy or his system and he lacks the 'body'.

I remember reading this a few months ago, but I stopped reading it for a while so I could save up some chapters and binge-read it later. Back then it was in like 300th place. Now it's in the top 30. Glad to see it's finally getting the attention it deserves.
