Is mc single or what? I read somewhere that mc doesn't even have a single wife at the end.i find this fact pretty weird. In a world where beautiful elves dragon , gods exists and yet he doesn't even love someone.
4. THE MC IS HUMANE. I have seen concerns saying that the mc klein is too nice for his own good. This novel doesn't have one of those edge lord 'i hate the world' 'im going to kill everyone cos why not' type of mc. Klein isn't 'too nice', he's just normal. His reasons make sense and he has a clear goal of what he wants. He has morals and botoom lines that he will not cross no matter what. If you're concerned, HE IS CRUEL to his enemies and to his enemies alone. He is portrayed realistically and vividly so much he feels alive. that is all i can think of. enjoy reading
3. WRITE STUFF DOWN. If u have the time and energy, then I recommend writing names of characters and important details since there is ALOT going on. If on the other hand, you dont have time, that's okay. Important things will get repeated over the course of the story but you might fumble your way if you don't have a good memory. Searching things up on wiki can be helpful but there are spoilers so BEWARE. Other say that the start of this is slow and boring. I personally don't think so since I was intrigued by the 1st chapter. BUT, i do understand where others are coming from. The pacing of the 1st volume is slow since it's setting up the world building. There will be countless moments when you'll just go 'wtf am i reading' BUT TRUST ME, it will get better and you will understand.
THINGS U MIGHT WANNA KNOW BEFORE READING THIS (no spoilers) 1. What is the plot of this novel? man don't ask just read it lol. IM KIDDING. It's just so hard to put the plot into words without spoiling anything but imma try. Basically, it's abt a modern chinese man transmigrating to a victorian era world where people who has powers are called 'beyonders'. He wants to find his way home until he gets involved in an investigation that pulls him in the world of mysticism and sets everything into motion. I TRIED MY BEST JUST READ IT. 2. WHY THE HELL IS THIS NOVEL SO LONG? Well, that's because the world is so complex. I know the number of chapters are intimidating especially if you haven't read anything that lasts up to a thousand but hey, everything that happened in the book needed to happen. You will understand it if u read it.
