I really love the novel but some conflict within chapter is just so annoying that I can't help but just skim reading it. for example, Spoiler Alerthis conflict with zhang clan and sanctum of the sages, he can easily whip out the sanctum head token and all doubt about him would be cleared. like Yang Xuan said, there's no way an ancient sage will acknowledge a otherworldly demon as a sanctum head, and by logic, there's no way mere nobody like first elder of zhang clan or the current deputy sanctum head (zhan) would deny the acknowledgement of an ancient sage. even if the rules states that he can't show the token before he unseal it completely, its already 2 seals down, and its impossible for the token to be faked. and if push come to shove, he can use his aura as celestial master teacher to further prove his point. its really unnecessary prolonged conflict that can be solved within minutes.

Losing me at the ancient domain chapters (early 1000s)... Cliche brainless romance is developing and the story is becoming meh at best for the past 30 chapters. Hope it improves.

I took it to read while it was still in release, but I took a break and never read it again... now a few years later I'm back to read it, I've always liked novels with comedy and parody, it's going to be a fun experience.

I'm Brazilian. I am very careful with what I read. This is one of my favorite books. If you read the work thinking about a "seinen" you will surely get annoyed, the focus of the work is comedy, just like the series "el chavo" you know exactly what will happen and how it will happen, but it's still funny, very funny. The work is simple, but the world and plot are coherent and leave no loose ends.

Interesting plot. good story. Very few novels have satisfying end.
