The prologue was enough for me to care about the family... But I can't have faith in a wife, with pink hair, left behind for so long. Could someone enlighten me if I should give her a chance or not? (I don't care about spoilers about her)

It’s definitely worth it. There are a few weaker moments in the beginning and near chapter 800, but it’s still a solid 9/10

Its huge info dump and the story really start around ch 57 i just skip 90% the explanations on techniques and repeated glorifications about MC Body structure ignoring those annoying things the story so far has been quite solid overall 4/5, but i might chance ratings when i catch up with the story

What’s going on with those updates? Is this normal? The update frequency seemed to be quite stable in the past.

it started out good and very entertaining but as it went on it became more and more evident how one-sided the mc is and how the story will go

I stopped at chapter 680 when the mc became too hypocritical for me, all that young master sh*t yet he does the exact same thing. Then the explanation is too annoying, leave us to our imagination too, we're reading because we want to imagine, if not we'd rather just watch the movie. And I can't believe that he was rude and arrogant to someone that could kill him with a snap of his fingers just because of his wife? Like wtf?

Yo bro, Ryu was arrogant cause of he knew that stage was one that he was going to get to eventually, and he knew that if he was going to die he would there was no point in being subservient.

Does he become op as soon as his meridians are sorted?? I don’t want it where he’s got no competition. I’m in the mood for a calculative mc who fights strong people

770+ chps in. Its... okay. Not the best, kills time. Not reccomending otherwise. Its not my taste. Its really predictable. MC is one-dimensional. Typical Cliches. Sh*tty side characters & character development. Really good writing tho, although at times pointless. Worldbuilding & Plot is solid. Overall 7/10

Sorry, what about it is really good writing? Is it just the world building and overall plot? You also mention it has a 1D MC, typical cliches, bad side characters, and lack of character development(rounded characters) which sounds like sh!t writing by my standards. I'm looking for something new to pick-up and am a little confused by your mini-review. I'd like to hear more from someone that invested enough time to get 770ch in though!

The people above said basically what I meant. The plot/worldbuilding is mid at best, and the author does a decent enough job describing it. That said, it doesn't always make the story better. In fact, it's quite often annoying. This author should leave a lot to the imagination of the readers. But the overdone writing ruins the experience. Implications, traits, and other qualities can be shown, instead of told. I dropped this a while ago, so I'm not too sure Im accurate. Other readers can comment below to confirm/deny my opinion.

Like, the writing is really good, no grammatical mistakes and good use of words and vocabulary great at describing, I don't really remember that much from earlier chapters but I would say it's pretty good although I have taken a break from reading at chap 825 got a bit annoying. I liked it from the start but from what I've heard from others it's really confusing in the beginning and you have to get through that part. Overall just so many negative reviews that don't give any concrete reason, like: "So predictable, mc will just get strong" Like no sh*t he will, why do people even read stuff like one punch man, it's fun. Or "where is Elena" like b*tch the entire f*ck*ng point is that you're not supposed to know. Idk mate, I like it, I will continue reading after I've finished reading some other novels.

Ryu reminds me of the mc of Dimensional descent Leonel in the sense that they both have multiple powerful bloodlines, parents are at the top of the world, and are disgusting SIMPs for their women

Simp? Then i am not gonna even try this one, I dropped dimensional descent due mc being overly simp

Mc of DD Leonel is literally Asexual for Aina and he is not simping for her just for the sake of simping it had been told many occasion that the MC feel universal pull(feelings) torwards her. And it was told that the past, present and future can all affect each other and their bloodlines and such and in latest chapthers it was revealed that the woman MC simps for, her family name was deeply part of MC's grandfather's family name Fawkes which might mean that the MC fell in love with Aina in the future and someting happened there and all those feelings are returned to the MC living in the present timeline.
