part 2 my third problem is with the fights. each fight he spends 2-3 chapters using 20% of his power saying "hey can we stop fighting and just talk and become best friends" when the enemy is actually trying to kill him. then he ends the fight in one second with some "new teqnique" he just thought of. like bro could end all his fights in one second with black magic and mana but he draws out each one for several chapters before getting serious. my fourth problem is how the MC started having breakthroughs during fights rather than by himself. like why is he coming up with new teqniques during fights?? does he not practice by himself anymore? at the start of the novel he learned black magic by himself with no one to teach him really. he came up with stuff like the cobweb move, or minion. I liked that sh*t. now he is always having breakthroughs and learning things during fights and it feels like a gimmick.

Part 1 i am at chapter 208 and I like the novel. I do. it has an interesting world with interesting powers. it's pretty good. but it's not that great. my first problem, and it's a BIG one, is with the MC being "polite". this has gone WAY PAST being polite. he is stronger than pretty much everyone he met except for merlin and he is bowing and apologizing to EVERYONE. 60% of a chapter is just this dude apologizing. he has no self respect or confidence bro. and it's kinda hard to read that. not once does he intimidate anyone or show his strength. my second problem is with the MC being "Naive". i understand he was never taught anything and raised in a mine but it's been a year and it hasn't changed much. he still asks the same questions and still doesn't know what s*x is. my third problem is...in part 2 cus wordcount

An enjoyable read. I almost dropped it due to how dull the MC is. Fortunately, I carried on. The first "arc" (not declared by author) is slow. The chapters are thick, making it feel worse. The novel feels slow for 100 or so chapters. The second arc is packed. Many fights, many stories, many mysteries, many solutions. The MC is still largely dull but the novel is more entertaining. The MC is showcasing more behaviors and personality, turning more human. It feels as if the novel will end within 200 more chapters just from the knowledge we have concerning the looming key plot and various characters. The MC is like mob psycho MC. However, rather than bottling up emotions, he doesn't get emotional often. His personal emotions are strong. The other assets he has available to fight however, are many, making the various fights engaging to read. I've only skimmed through a few that weren't engaging. Plot armor, yes, he is a GENIUS. Up to you to read.

Read 100 chaps, One thing to say. After 50-60 or so it gets exausting. MC is same, there is no character development no desperation to power, no anxiety of losing life. In short, Its monotonous and empty

At chapter 21 rn and find it a little... slow. It's not boring per se, but it's just not very entertaining. I like how Oliver is kinda like a young naive Shang personality wise. But other than that nothing else has really interested me much. So does it get more interesting later?

Bruh, just keep going and before you know it, you'll get addicted. The beauty of the story is how he understand the world. How he interact with ppl is very interesting.

I found it interesting MC is full of curiosities and the fact that there is a secret around him that he himself has I discovered I like how the character acts and the reaction of those around him is fun because they don't understand him very well ...
