I'm just curious why tf does nobody mentions their incest relationship it's like everybody in this novel find it natural as breathing and nobody finds it weird. The mc is really like a new villain of soul land he's opposing the OG protagonists party. He's proactively provoking them even though they haven't done anything to him, he's acting like a Chinese young master would act in a Chinese face slapping novel.   If you haven't finished the story to the relevant part, here's the spoilers part of my responseSpoiler AlertNot only that, but Tang San and Yu Xiaogang are both wiped from the world. Yunlong devours Xiao Wu, on the promise he would let Tang San go, although Yunlong abuses a loophole in the form of his harem doing the job. After that, Spirit Hall just takes over, and prepares for the invasion that was supposedly the changer for the entire Douluo Continent, against the Sun-Moon Empire in the future. That's a personal chip in a shoulder, because by all logic, Spirit Hall, even with some decent laws, is still a corrupt organisation that doesn't have much subtlety when it comes to wiping anyone and anything that gets in their domination, even if it is unintentional, and the public wouldn't readily accept their rule with praise. There would be civil war due to the fact that the Spirit Hall taking over. A lot of people would die in the process, a bloody expectation

  Perhaps the reason why Yunlong hates Tang San with a passion, is likely due to that fact, even if neither side are aware of that. Still, this story does have its merit, due to the fact that it shows what would have happened if Tang San was bested in the critical points. No Du Gu Bo as a shield for Shrek, no Seven Treasured Glazed Clan to act as shelter, and a lot of potential allies snuffed before they can even ave the chance to act. That is the cruel majesty of it all: Had Tang San not planned his moves well enough, or if there was someone in Spirit Hall with spite enough to ruin his future plans by coincidence, Tang San is already screwed to begin with.

  That's just how a good part of the Douluo Dalu stories just work, because it counts as a way to stay the hell away from Tang San. Good stories regarding this universe don't just focus on Tang San's journey, it must also have some focus from the story's MC away from the titular team. Which is most people rely on the use of being part of Spirit Hall, the villian team to make such a scenario possible, and this always come with the risk of falling into the same kind of villainy that Spirit Hall is infamous for in the story. Think about in the perspective of Yunlong, however. Yu Xiaogang is literally the devil in his eyes, for crushing his mother's heart. This gives me a lot of spite and hate to ruin the lives of the crew. It has been shown early in the story that he has become ruthless after seeing how cruelly reality treats him in the earlier reincarnations.

Either way, as a reader of the original Light Novel, and Manhua, and the anime/donghua, I hope that the author will consider what I wrote in the spoilers, and that the story continues for all of us readers, regardless of who we root for in the fic.

Spoiler AlertAs it was supposed to be shown that Yunlong is supposed to be a hero with dark traits or an anti-hero at worst, this hurts me, and I hope that the author will either show the fact that Yunlong has truly fallen for the vices of being high in the Sporit Hall pecking order, or he realises how much of an monster he is becoming and lightens up a little, or perhaps write scenes that show that he hasn’t lost a good part of his nobler qualities. And then there’s the fact that Spirit Hall suddenly makes things better after the main obstacles, Tang Hao and all Titled Douluos allied to Tang San and Yu Xiaogang. Here, Spirit Hall is not much different to canon in terms of motive and action, this seems really unlikely. After all, the way Spirit Hall did things, they’d likely run themselves into the ground with all of their schemes, with too many potential world-changers dead as a result. What will come of the future, when Yunlong ascends?(Part 3)

Spoiler AlertStill, the certain parts of the story did irk me a lot, and as many people have commented here, the sheer amount of cruelty rendered on the canonical hero crew twists my heart-strings a lot. Ning Rongrong corrupted, Xiao Wu dying for nothing, Tang San smashed to pieces throughout a long reversal of fates, it hurts, but when you’re an MC on the side of the villains, that’s just the game. The problem is that Yunlong is literally devolving to the point that he is going ‘for the evulz’, with the sheer thin layer that he cares about his harem and mother. I mean, look at the fact that he gave the green light to murder anyone who even looks at Spirit Hall wrong, and murder countless innocents just to cement the hold of the Empire.(Part 2)
